The role of Chief Compliance/Legal Officer is to be responsible for ensuring that Groa Capital and its funds operate in compliance with the Bank of Lithuania’s authorizations and the legal and regulatory requirements imposed by the Republic of Lithuania and the EU. The Chief Compliance/Legal Officer shall act as the AML Officer for the firm as well.

Job profile:
Suitable candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Relevant experience working at the Bank of Lithuania (BoL), on the legal/compliance team of a BoL authorized fund manager, within a law firm or a consulting firm specializing in such areas
- Hard-working, positive, enthusiastic, proactive and career committed individual willing to develop in the sphere of fund management and real estate private equity
- University degree in law, finance, economics, business administration or related disciplines
- Understanding of the fund management business and the ability to work directly with partners to develop solutions which are compliant but also meet the needs of the business
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English
The following qualifications would be an advantage:
- Experience with all requirements of a compliance officer responsible for a BoL authorized fund manager including the completion and filing of all regulatory filings, drafting policies and procedures, retaining required books and records, KYC/AML review, review of marketing materials, and the general development, oversight, and daily implementation of a compliance program
- Ability to identify regulatory issues and work independently to develop solutions
- knowledge of German, French, or additional languages
